SportsSports Reach of Kentucky, USA to visit Belize this Friday

BELIZE CITY, Thurs. Aug. 6, 2015–Christian Sports Ministry Sports Reach of Kentucky, USA is coming to Belize, beginning Friday, August 7, partnering with Hoop Dreams Belize to spread the word of God through sports.

Sports Reach has produced several notable alums in the NBA and other organizations, and continues to have an impact on young people’s lives with the awesome power of Christ, who once commanded that no one should keep the children away from him, for they are the kingdom of heaven.

Media houses and church groups are hereby invited to a meet and greet with Sports Reach director Bobby Speer and the Division I and II (NCAA) players on the trip. These include Justin Johnson of Western Kentucky University; Ken-Jah Bosley of Kentucky Wesleyan University; and Jordan Montgomery of Union University.

The Sports Reach team will be playing local selections, beginning on Saturday at Birds Isle in Belize City, before traveling to Belmopan, San Ignacio and Dangriga. The final match features Sports Reach versus Hoop Dreams, the recent champions of the Copa Cancun Tournament.

We call on all the Churches that want to do something positive this Friday to come out and meet and greet the Sports Reach in collaboration with Hoop Dreams Belize!

For more information, contact Hoop Dreams Belize coach Brads Neal at 610-4076.
