Stann Creek F.A. 1st Division Tournament Week 3 results

DANGRIGA, Wed. Oct. 18, 2017–The Stann Creek Football Association (SCFA) 1stt Division Tournament 2017 continued on Friday and Saturday, October 13-14, with Week 3 games at the Carl Ramos Stadium.

In the opener on Friday, Ecumenical High School defeated Pomona Warriors, 1-nil, on a goal by Zion Ramos (37’). And in the nightcap, Conquerors and South Side Warriors played to a 3-3 draw. Shaking the net for Conquerors were Shanty Castillo (31’), Jeffton Apolonio (52’) and Kareem Haylock (59’); while South Side’s goals were by Steven Ledland (28’), Fredrick Flores (39’) and Brandon Cacho (78’).

In game 1 on Saturday, Wagiya and BDF Delta Devils ended up in a 2-2 stalemate, with Kenton Flores (9’) and Izah Rowland (65’) rocking the net for Wagiya; while Darnae Garcia (31’) and Kelker Palacio (54’) hit the target for Delta Devils. Game 2 saw Hopkins Blak Lyons with the 3-1 win over Hope Creek Pumas. Ewarth Flowers (6’), Norman Nunez (40’) and Devaney Tillett (52’) got a goal each for Hopkins; while Chris Bonegas (70’) got the only goal for Hope Creek.

Week 4 games:

Friday, October 20
6:30 p.m. – Bowen & Bowen Landsharks vs Conquerors
8:30 p.m. – Pomona Warriors vs Hopkins Blak Lyons

Sunday, October 22
3:30 p.m. – Silk Grass Warriors vs BDF Delta Devils
5:30 p.m. – Hope Creek Pumas vs Delille Jaguars
