PUNTA GORDA, Mon. Dec. 28, 2015–Season’s Greetings!

   The Concerned Committee for Football, in collaboration with the POLO Committee, continued its New Year’s Competition with games on Saturday and Sunday.

   In the first game on Saturday, Galaxy defeated Police by a score of 2 to 1. Steven Pop scored 2 goals for Galaxy, while Juan Ica scored the only goal for Police.

   In second game, Jah Youths defeated Jah Love, 6 to 1. Michael Ricketts and Enfield Arzu, Jr. scored 2 goals apiece, and Alex Terry and Ray Arzu scored 1 goal each for Jah Youths. Ralph Flores scored for Jah Love.

   In the nightcap, Jahroots/Estrellas and Ray FC played to a 2-2 draw. Aduan Usher scored 2 goals for Jahroots/Estrellas, while Clayton Fitzgibbon and Jaren Lambey scored 1 goal apiece for Ray FC.

   Southern Stars rested on Saturday.

   In the first game on Sunday, Southern Stars defeated Ray FC, 3 to nil. Joaquin Ico scored 2 goals and Carlos Choco scored 1 goal for Southern Stars.

   In the second game, Jah Youths defeated Police, 5 to 1. Alex Terry scored 2 goals, while Matthew Ricketts, Michael Ricketts, Ray Arzu and Evan Mariano scored 1 goal apiece for Jah Youths. Ramon Ico scored for Police.

   In the nightcap, Jah Love defeated Galaxy, 2 to nil. Evert Genus and Deandre Gonzalez scored for Jah Love.

   Estrellas rested on Sunday.
