Who benefits from our oil?

LettersWho benefits from our oil?

Editor Sir,

Upon the formation of the new Government of Belize, we should ask the oil companies to stop investing in our country. The trickle down economics is not working. The people of Belize are not feeling the many benefits of having oil in our country. The monies stop with the Ministers or maybe only with the oil company. Contracts should be terminated or better negotiated so as to see and feel the benefits of the industry for our country.
