Police in Punta Gorda have reported a bizarre case of bestiality which resulted in the untimely death of a prized young female horse, which occurred while most people were busy ushering in the New Year 2014.

A man from Toledo is currently wanted by Punta Gorda police after he reportedly committed the unnatural and criminal act — which contributed to the unexpected death of a family’s highly-prized horse — sometime between 6:00 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, December 31, and the wee hours of New Year’s Day, January 1, 2014,

According to police, Isidro Galvez, 54, a farmer of Forest Home in the Toledo District, told them that around 6:00 a.m. on New Year’s morning, he did a routine check on his red pony which he had left tied to a tree in his back yard and found the pony lying motionless on the ground, and bleeding from the vagina. The farmer said that he discovered a used condom underneath the rear of the horse, and also, a new pack with some unused condoms nearby.

Amandala understands that on New Year’s Day at about 9:35 a.m., Punta Gorda police visited the Galvez residence on Laredo Road in Forest Home Village and saw the body of the horse, which was said to be 1 year and 4 months old. Near the horse, police reportedly saw the used condom that appeared to have contained semen and the packet of unused condoms.

Police have also said that they observed a large cut wound on the private parts of the female horse.

Police are looking for one suspect in connection with this suspected case of bestiality.
