BELIZE CITY, Mon. June 15, 2015–Our heart is still heavy with the shocking news we received yesterday of the passing on Friday, of boxing enthusiast, one time professional boxer, and dedicated youth activist, Henry Gill, a.k.a. Boxer.

Just a few days earlier, he had reached out to the public for financial assistance for his “Henry Gill Boys & Girls Boxing Club” located at the Body 2000 building on Coney Drive. As I drove home on Sunday morning after the Press Cadogan Show on Krem FM, I saw the black ribbon on the door at Body 2000, confirming that there was no mistake, my friend had passed.

Initial reports are that his funeral will be held on Saturday, R.I.P. brother Henry “Boxer” Gill.
