ORANGE WALK TOWN, Mon. Nov. 7, 2016–The Orange Walk Football Association (OWFA) U-13 semifinals were played on Saturday, November 5, at the Technical Field. In game 1, Black Wata dropped Minions, 2-0, with goals from Esmir Vasquez and Menalio Novelo. And in the second semifinal, Corozal Rising Stars and Vibes Alive drew, 1-1. Fernando Vellos shook the net for Corozal Rising Stars, while Carlos Canello scored for Vibes Alive. (We figure Vibes Alive won in a shootout, because they are in the Finals.)
The Grand Finals take place this Saturday, November 12, at Technical Field in Orange Walk Town. The third-place game will feature Minions vs Corozal Rising Stars; and in the Finals, it will be Vibes Alive vs Black Wata.
