Farmer missing in San Narciso

HeadlineFarmer missing in San Narciso

He may have been kidnapped for ransom

SAN NARCISO, Corozal District, Mon. June 18, 2018– Yesterday, June 17, 43-year-old businessman Homero Campos left his home in San Narciso to work on his farm, but he never returned home.

In a police press brief held today, ACP Joseph Myvette revealed practically no information, except to say that Campos’ family had received a phone call, presumably from his kidnappers, but they could not reveal the nature of the call in order to not jeopardize Campos’ life.

It has been speculated, however, that the call was for a ransom.

Police would only add that the family contacted the police, and that they are investigating the matter, and are searching the area, with the family, to see if they could discover Campos’ whereabouts.
