The Belize United and Ebony Lake U-10 boys both enjoyed victories when the Belize Tourism Board’s (BTB) Under-10 Mundialito kicked off with 3 matches at the Berger Field in Belize City on Saturday morning, May 3.

In Game 1, Jerrod Tillett (22’) delivered the winning goal in Ebony Lake’s 1-0 win over Tut By FC.

In Game 2, Belize United enjoyed a 2-1 win over Ladyville Rising Stars, when Azaire Gaynair’s “golazo” on a 25-yard free kick sailed over the goalkeeper’s gloves to the far post: 2-1 final. John Habet (4’) had struck first for Belize United, and Alpheus Cleland (11’) had equalized at 1-1 for the village boys.

In Game 3, Blazing Strikers salvaged a 2-2 draw with Sampson United, with goals from Zeon Jones (14’) and Jahleel Goff (16’), after Adidjah Jones’ brace (8’ & 11’) had given Sampson a 2-0 lead up to the half.
