A tale by moonlight

FeaturesA tale by moonlight

Once upon a time, on a day the lion became hungry, he said to the fox: “Bring me something to eat, or, I shall eat you”.

The fox went to the donkey and said: “Lion wants to make you king, come with me.”

When the lion saw the donkey, it attacked her, tearing off her ears, but the donkey managed to escape. On seeing the fox, the donkey said: “You tricked me! Lion tried to kill me!

The fox said: “Don’t be silly! He removed your ears to place the crown on your head! Let’s go back.”

This made sense to the donkey, so it went back.

However, the lion attacked the donkey again, and this time removed its tail! The donkey escaped again, and told the fox: “You were lying! Lion removed my tail!”

The fox said: “He only removed your tail so you can sit comfortably on the throne. Come back with me.”

The fox convinced the donkey to return again. But this time, the lion caught the donkey and killed it.

The lion then said to the fox: “Well done for bringing back the donkey! Now, go! Skin it for me and bring me its brain, lungs, liver and heart.”

The fox skinned the donkey and ate the donkey’s brain; but brought back its lungs, liver and heart to the lion. The lion became very angry and thundered: “Where is its brain?”

The fox replied: “It had no brain, my King. If it had any brain, it would not have returned to you after you removed its ears and tail.”

The lion said: “That is very true.”

The moral of this story is: “Don’t be like the donkey!”

This is how “foxes” keep convincing “donkeys” at every election. The “donkeys” keep voting, trusting those whose only agenda is to personally benefit at the expense of the nation. STOP! THINK! If we fail to use our brains, we will all end up like the donkey.
