One cannot be indifferent about the past, for the past is part of the present and the future. If I was the Prime Minister of Belize, I would care very little or nothing at all about the USA/UK. You see, they are not the only ones who are interested in this very important and beautiful Jewel called Belize.

I wonder how are they, USA/UK, going to share that half of Belize after the Belize/Guatemala issue is taken to the International Court of Justice and should they rule on behalf of Guatemala? Now, don’t misunderstand me, I am trying to think like the white man. You, we Maya, Mestizos and Mulattos, or if you want to call yourselves “Baymen Scottish,” it’s fine with me – just go look at yourself in a looking glass. You can look at my nose and that alone will tell you where it comes from.

Anyhow, to them we are only good to be servants such as waiters, bartenders, cooks, bell-boys, maids, receptionists etc. Someone said in the House of Representatives something like, “I look myself in the looking glass and 300 years ago my ancestors would never believe that someone who look like me would be in the House of Representatives.” That person knows himself. From here, I salute you. Know who you

I don’t have any money or investment in the U.S.A. or the U.K. So are the majority of Belizeans. Not because you may eat rice and beans today that means that you are of the wealthy ones, and as you can see the food goods are going up. What? That the GOB have good programs to alleviate the poverty problem we have in our country? It is only on paper, theory, something similar to the human rights and the social justice of the preamble to the Constitution of Belize.

Have they given a report on how much money has been spent on traveling abroad, knowing that there are people who don’t even have to eat? In the evenings as soon as it gets dark, people (the Belizean human scum) come out from nowhere in search of food in the garbage drum or at the market. I invite you to see them, Hon. Dean O. Barrow, the same way I invited the former P.M. Hon. Said Musa, and, as you know, he never cared.

Let me explain something to my readers. Whenever I use the word “Honorable,” to me it means nothing. It’s a word that swells many heads and they start feeling themselves like a semi-god, something similar to the “Turkeys-gallo pavo.” But for me those drunken people who are on the sidewalk are more honorable than the “Honorables.” Sometime in the future I will explain to you why.

Anyhow, to take away these oppressors and their unconditional colonial apologists “lambiscones” and the Royal Family of Belize, I would join Cuba and Venezuela. Yes, I know they will invade our country. But, isn’t our country already invaded without any benefit for us, the roots Belizeans?

So, if we should join Cuba and Venezuela, how would it benefit us? First of all, free education for all up to the highest degree. Health care for all, no more corned beef and Vienna chicken sausage (I wonder if that is what the Hon. P.M. is going to eat every day). Shelter for all. (Not the few in luxury mansions and the majority in cardboard huts.) Healthy food for all. JOBS, JOBS! Recreation for workers and families to know our country. Oh boy, land, a piece of land of our own to live on. A piece of land to farm on.

By the way, Mr. P.M., do you remember during the 1993/98 UDP government there was a programme pertaining to a portion of land for a house for those of us who had never had a piece of land? Well, it so happened that many of us stayed without a job after the changing of government to PUP, and we couldn’t pay the $1,535.00. Do you think that we roots Belizeans deserved our title without any cost or you give us a job to pay for it? Up and forward with the “Citizens Organized for Liberty thru Action.”
