Belize Elementary girls and Holy Redeemer boys are Belize City Primary Schools Volleyball Champions 2019-2020

BELIZE CITY, Thurs. Nov. 7, 2019– The female and male championship finals of the Belize City Primary Schools Volleyball Tournament 2019-2020, which tipped off just over a month ago on September 30 with 9 female teams and 12 male teams, were played today at the Stars Gym in Belize City.

In the female championship, it was a close but straight sets victory for Belize Elementary School, 25-23, 25-18, over Hummingbird Elementary School. And in the males, the CODICADER Gold Medal team, Holy Redeemer School grabbed the, 25-16, 25-19, win over Hummingbird Elementary School.

Both finalists in females and males will represent Belize City in the Belize District championships next week.

Bze District Finals on Monday

The Belize District Primary School Volleyball Finals is scheduled for Monday, November 11, commencing at 9:00 a.m. sharp at the Stars Gym in Belize City.

Representing the Belize Rural in the Females are Lucky Strike Government School and Holy Cross Anglican School (San Pedro); and for the Males it will be Our Lady Of The Way RC School (Ladyville) and Holy Cross Anglican School (San Pedro).

And representing Belize City in the Females will be Belize Elementary School and Hummingbird Elementary School; and for the Males, it will be Holy Redeemer School and Hummingbird Elementary School.
