Dear Editor,

The Belize representative spoke at the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Summit. Your speaker said what we need to do is reorganize the international financial system. What does that mean? The U.S. and China should indebt themselves to make life better for the people of Belize? It was surprising that he did not mention a word about the devastation of drugs or the claim upon virtue of Belize. No word about corruption.

It is true that the problems without borders affect all of us. But all of us have the duty and obligation to contribute to solution of those problems and the diminution of suffering for all the peoples, plants, animals, and waters of the world.
