According to the girl, she decided to go outside to see what was happening.

According to the girl, when she became conscious she saw an unfinished house in the darkness. She said that she started to scream and that was when her attacker punched her in her mouth.

?He ripped off my panty from under my white floral nightgown,? she said, adding that the attacker threw her down in some high bushes, then hit her several times in her face and shoved a piece of clotht in her mouth.

?He was choking me as he was raping me. He stopped because there were dogs coming in our direction,? she recalled.

She said that her attacker told her that he needed to take her to another location.

?As he was pulling me by the neck, I played like something was in my foot, so I sat on the ground. He asked me how old I was and I replied, ?13 years.? ? When he asked me if I knew him, I told him that I did not. But I knew him,? she told us.

She said that her attacker made her swear that she would not tell anyone about what had happened.

I thought that I would have been killed. I thought that he would have hanged me with the belt that he took off.

The victim also told Amandala that the family has since been receiving death threats.

The battered girl received bruises on the face and the left side of her hip, and her eyes are swollen. She is also complaining of pains in her neck.

She added that she is presently getting counseling to help her to cope with her ordeal.
