Caesar Ridge FC and Tut Bay FC are leading, each with 2 wins, as they held each other to a 2-2 draw in the 4th week of the Belize District Football Association (BDFA) First Division 2024-2025 Closing Season at the Marion Jones Sports Complex in Belize City last Thursday evening, May 1.
In Game 1, the defending champions, Survivors enjoyed their first win, 2-1, over Hattieville United Youth Sporting Club with goals by Devon Augustine (15’) and Carlos Raul Lopez (67’). Only Keithon Dyer (75’) converted a 30-yard free kick for Hattieville’s only consolation goal.
In Game 2, the Kelly Street Bombers enjoyed their 2nd win, 4-2, over the Old Road Defenders, with goals by Adgar Adderley (13’), Francis Andrews (23’) and Steven Baizar’s brace, (35’ penalty & 85’). Old Road’s Kevin Young (29’) reduced the deficit in the first half, finishing an assist from Keeshawn Gordon, who also converted a penalty at the 57th minute.
In Game 3, Tut Bay FC salvaged a tense 2-2 draw with Caesar Ridge FC after Calvin Thurton (3’) struck first for Tut Bay. Francis Arana (27’) equalized for Caesar Ridge, and Kenyon Pratt (58’) gave them the lead, until Dylan Belisle’s header (82’) equalized for Tut Bay.
