In recent days, China broke many records, won absolutely everything ($20 billion so far according to initial reports), and bought around 30% of the shares of companies belonging to the West in China. Xi Jinping has outperformed Europeans and outsmarted American Democrats. He played a wonderful game in front of the eyes of the whole world. Due to the situation in Wuhan, the Chinese currency began to decline, but the Chinese central bank took no action to stop this collapse. There were also many rumors that China did not even have enough masks to fight the coronavirus. These rumors and Xi Jinping’s statement that the Chinese government was ready to protect Wuhan residents by blocking the borders have led to a sharp drop in share prices (44%) in Chinese technology and the chemical industry. The financial sharks started selling all the Chinese shares, but nobody wanted to buy them, and they were completely devalued. Xi Jinping made a big move, waiting for an entire week and smiling at the press conferences as if nothing special had happened. And when the prices fell below the allowed limit, he ordered to buy ALL the shares of Europeans and Americans at once! Then the “financial sharks” realized they had been duped and bankrupted. But it was too late, because all the shares had passed into the hands of China, which at this time not only earned $20 billion, but thanks to the simulation, again becomes the majority shareholder of companies built by Europeans and Americans. The shares are now owned by their companies and they have become owners of the major industries on which the EU (European Union), America and the entire world depend. From now on, China will set the price and the income of its companies, which will not leave the Chinese borders, but stay at home and maintain all the Chinese gold reserves. Thus, the American and European “financial sharks” proved to be stupid, and within minutes the Chinese collected most of their shares, which now produce billions of dollars in profits! Such a brilliant move in the history of the stock market is not remembered!

The majority of Belizeans look towards the United Kingdom, the West Indies and the United States of America for knowledge on different issues. Nevertheless, I, your humble servant, look elsewhere to find the different ways of thinking, either of individuals or organizations. Before I continue, let me say to you, our readers of this column, that should the statements I quoted above, which were published on Facebook by Materialismo Dialectico e Historico, see light, I hope you may also appreciate the analysis, since I too have thought that after so many sanctions that Donald Trump has put against the People’s Republic of China we would realize that after an action there is a reaction. We also know that these superpowers have engaged in an economic war, as well as a biological one, and we can also include in it the drug war, where in this case, the largest market of drug consumption is well known to be established in the United States of America.
In addition, we also need to look at an old idea that has been in the pipeline for Belize to become a part of Guatemala. Interestingly, probably a couple months ago, the President of Guatemala, Alejandro Giammattei, made a reference to “good neighbors” in a speech that was delivered in El Salvador, and he gave to the Salvadorans a portion of land for them to build a port where they can have an outlet towards the Atlantic. Of course, there are those who would not like Belizeans to know about such an issue, since, there is already a case at the International Court of Justice where the judges will decide if Guatemala has the right to the Sarstoon River and a few islands where they can also have an outlet to the Caribbean. Mind you, according to the history of Belize, Belizeans have been opposed to giving to Guatemala even an inch of the 8867 square miles of Belizean territory.
On the other hand, I am pleased to know of the decision that the Prime Minister of Belize, Dean Barrow, has taken should the coronavirus start to spread in Belize, by inviting our best friends, the Cubans, who have the cure to such a virus. It has been well-acknowledged by different countries that the medications that the Cuban doctors use on their patients, save many lives. We may not have a vaccine against such illness but, yes, it is a fact that Cuba was able to invent such a medication. In probably a couple of my columns, I have mentioned and shown the medications that are used. Based on that, I was contacted through email by Dr. Jeff Hartman, assistant professor, Doctor of Physical Therapy Program, University of Wisconsin, Madison, School of Medicine and Public Health, who was interested in having a conversation with me on such subject. Unfortunately, I was unable to entertain his request, since, as you may know, I have no knowledge in such a field. I humbly take this opportunity to apologize to you, Dr. Jeff Hartman, for not being able to accommodate such a discussion with you on such an important subject.
