BELIZE CITY, Sun. Feb. 18, 2018– The City Boys 10 & Under Grassroots Tournament 2018 continued with Week 2 games on Saturday, February 17, at Yabra Field. In the 4 games played, Warriors FC clipped St. John Vianney, 1-0; Reality Youths won, 3-1, over Poor & Famous; City Boys Jr. and Ladyville Rising Stars drew, 0-0; and Carlston Elite (formerly FC Elite Jr.) got the 2-1 win over Sampson Academy.
Player of the Day was Tishawn Gillett of Reality Youths, who scored 2 goals in their win over Poor & Famous.
Note that Warriors FC has replaced Face of Belize in the tournament; and FC Elite Jr. is now playing under the name Carlston Elite.
