BELIZE CITY, Thurs. May 27, 2021– The 2020 Bowen & Bowen/ Harrison Parks National Cricket Competition featured Level One and Level Two finals series games this past weekend. The 2020 cricket competition is just being completed now, after it was suspended last year due to Covid-19.
In game one on Saturday at Isabella in their best-of-three games series for the Level Two championship, reports are that Brilliant won over Rural Mix. The same teams clash again in game two this Saturday in Crooked Tree. A win for Brilliant would give them the Level Two championship; while a victory for Rural Mix would force a decisive game three.
Meanwhile in Level One, after Bandits of Belmopan had taken game one at home a week earlier in their best-of-three games championship series against Summer Fever, the Fever evened things up, 1-1, with their game two victory this past Saturday in Bermudian Landing. The final game for the championship will therefore take place this coming Saturday in Lords Bank. It’s Bandits of Belmopan vs Summer Fever of Landing for the Level One 2020 National Cricket Championship!
