GeneralDestroyed drug plane found in Toledo

GRAHAM CREEK, Toledo District, Mon. July 22, 2019– Last week Sunday, law enforcement officers and soldiers of the Belize Defence Force made an arduous march to an area in Graham Creek, Toledo District, where they found a plane that had been completely destroyed on a make-shift runway, and a bulldozer was also seen parked not far from the remains of the suspected drug plane.

Searches were made in the plane and around the area, but nothing was found.

Police went to the area after the residents of the area reported that a plane was seen flying low in the area on Saturday.

Police said that they are looking for the bulldozer’s owner.
