The Football Federation of Belize (FFB) Open Inter-District Tournament 2013 had Week 2 games over the weekend, with 2 games each in the 4 zones of the competition.

ZONE 1 – On Saturday, November 30, at the Toledo Union Field, PG Police FC drew, 2-2, with Mavericks FC. Amir Colt (25’) and Ardel Avila (33’) scored for Police, while Andy Logan (30’ & 64’) got both goals for Mavericks. And on Sunday, December 1, at the Michael Ashcroft Stadium, it was the Burgess connection in effect, as M&M Steelers clipped GB United, 3-2, with a goal each from Rollin Burgess (26’), Dion Burgess (78’) and Brent Burgess (80’); while GB United goals were by Wilmer Garcia (28’ PK) and Victor Morales (90’).

ZONE 2 – On Saturday at the Carl Ramos Stadium in Dangriga, it was Green Gold FC and Hope Creek FC playing to a 2-2 stalemate. Michael Cho struck twice (9’ & 34’) for Green Gold, while Lionel Cabral replied each time (25’ & 60’) for Hope Creek. And on Sunday at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium in Belmopan, Roaring Creek FC burned San Martin FC, 1-nil, on a goal by Kenny Williams (32’).

ZONE 3 – On Saturday at the Norman Broaster Stadium in San Ignacio, Georgeville Strikers out-gunned Penerol, 5-2, with goals from Brenton Maximo (10’), Brandon Wiltshire (31’ & 49’), Randy Dueck (46’) and Alfonso Diaz (84’); while Penerol got both goals from Miguel Aguilar (32’ & 90’). And on Sunday at the MCC Grounds in Belize City, it was Princess Ebony Lake, 2-1, over Smart Brown Bombers. David Robateau (26’) and Ernest Fores (80’) shook the net for the Lake, while Clinton Gill (68’) scored for the Bombers.

ZONE 4 – Both Zone 4 games were played on Sunday, December 1. Up north at the Louisiana Football Field in Orange Walk Town, San Estevan FC dropped Progresso FC, 2-1, with goals from Aldair Chan (22’) and Atomiel Sandoval (46’); while Gabriel Perez (7’) got the only goal for Progresso. And further up north at the Ricalde Stadium in Corozal Town, Ranchito FC won, 3-1, over Athletico Club Los Lobos. Diego Morales (42’ & 45’) struck twice for Ranchito, who also benefited from an own goal by Athletico (11’ OG); while the lone tally for Athletico was by Palomo Barrias (12’).

3:30 p.m. – (Zone 2) Roaring Creek United vs Green Gold FC – Isidoro Beaton Stadium
4:00 p.m. – (Zone 3) Smart Brown Bombers vs Penerol – MCC Grounds
3:30 p.m. – (Zone 4) San Estevan FC vs Ranchito FC – San Estevan Field
3:30 p.m. – (Zone 4) Athletico Club Los Lobos vs Progresso FC – Ricalde Stadium
