On Saturday, February 25, 2023 the 38th Concacaf Ordinary Congress was held in Antigua,
Guatemala with great excitement as delegates from all 41 Concacaf Member Associations, Concacaf Council Members, and esteemed guests from the global football family gathered to take part in this prestigious event.
The Congress was marked by the unanimous re-election of Victor Montagliani as President of the Confederation for a further four-year term, spanning from 2023 to 2027. Montagliani, who was the sole candidate in the election, was re-elected by acclamation, showcasing the overwhelming support he has earned among the Concacaf Member Associations.
The President and his Council took swift action, electing Belizean Sergio Chuc to the vacant position of Council Member for Central America. This appointment is of utmost significance, as it marks the highest position ever held by a Belizean in the Concacaf organization, which governs football in North America, Central America, and the Caribbean.
