BELIZE CITY, Wed. Mar. 25, 2020– “March 20 at 6:22 PM

“Due to the latest press release from the Belize Press Office that stipulates that social gatherings are now limited to 25 persons, C-Ray Cycling Club has decided to postpone all Thursday and Saturday races until further notice.”

(Amandala Sports Ed. Note: The above post from her Facebook page by cycling sports star and columnist Kaya Cattouse, is symptomatic of the mood pervading the sporting community and nation at large, as we all “tighten up” (as the publisher directed us from Archie Bell and the Drells) to try and survive the impact of the approaching COVID-19 pandemic. We must remain calm, focused and disciplined; and do the right thing. Peace and love and unity will get us through this, brothers and sisters. Jah Love conquers all!)
