July 3, 2017–The Dangriga Mayor’s Cup Tournament 2017 had knockout quarterfinal playoffs scheduled for the past weekend on Friday, June 30, and Sunday, July 2, at the Carl Ramos Stadium; but only the Friday night games were played, as the Sunday games had to be called off due to weather conditions.

In the opener on Friday night, DYFA dropped Wagiya, 3-2, with a goal apiece from Eugene Martinez (22’), Davis Marshall (78’) and Jonard Castillo (85’); while Wagiya got a goal each from Krisean Lopez (70’) and Horace Avila (90’).
