The No Limit and Mayan Man teams have qualified to the Belize Basketball Federation Over-35 Masters championship finals, as both squads enjoyed victories in the semifinal at the Belize City Civic Center on Saturday evening, November 2.
In Game 1, No Limit disconnected DigiCell, 71-34, led by Greg “Chippy” Rudon who struck 5 times from outside the circle for 22 pts. Brandon Rogers, Sr. followed suit 6 times outside the arc for 18pts, and Paul Swasey put up 12 pts. Darwin “Puppy” Leslie scored 7 pts, Devon Defour netted 4 pts, and Bernard Felix, Alyson Revers, Kevin Lorenzo and Marcel Orozco each threw in a bucket.
Lennox Cayetano led DigiCell with 13 pts, Kenroy Usher put up 7 pts, and Edward Thompson shot 6 pts. Chadwick Ysaguirre netted 4 pts, and Ashley Hemsley tossed in a bucket.

The Mayan Men outlasted the Island Ballers, 58-55, led by Earl “Bolo” Johnson’s 21 pts. Sheldon Williams and Doug Penland struck twice from outside the arc for 10 pts each, Zahir Harris put up 9 pts, and Leon Galvez netted 4 pts. Tyrone “Mission” Edwards shot 3 pts, and William Black chipped in a free throw.
Neil “Max” Nicholson struck twice from outside the circle as he led the Island Ballers with 16 pts, Felix Martinez followed suit from outside the arc for 10 pts, and Alrick Olivera put up 9 pts. Farron Louriano posted 8 pts, Darwin “Dawgy” Elijio netted 6 pts, and Duane Staine added 4 pts. Ron Nicholson threw in a bucket.
