BELIZE CITY, Mon. Mar. 22, 2021– On Monday the government of Belize announced another increase in fuel pump prices. This time, the price of premium gasoline has been increased by $1.24.

Consumers will thus see premium gas prices jump from $10.40 to $11.64.

This increase, which is occurring on the heels of a number of recent increases in the prices of regular gas and diesel fuel, is expected to go into effect on Tuesday, March 23, 2021.

A release from the government of Belize states, “The prices for regular gasoline, kerosene, and diesel will remain unchanged at $10.92, $6.75, and $10.15 per gallon, respectively.”

It must be noted that this is the largest single increase to fuel prices recently.
