The Editor, Amandala

Dear Editor,

Capitalists who condemn welfare are myopic and unfeeling.

Thank you for such a profound editorial. My hope is that all Belizeans at home and abroad read this. While it seems to have been premised on accomplished BelAms, I have a strong sense that some living here at home are of the same ilk.

If time permits, you might be able to explore further in future editorials some of the facts you highlighted. I will make no attempt to comment on specifics for fear of diluting the message in any way.

Keep up the good job of challenging us as a society to look beyond ourselves and to take an interest in the well-being of our fellow men and women.
