Police said that two days ago, sometime around 4:00 p.m., a 14-year-old student reported that she was at home in her bedroom watching television when she was alerted by the sound of the creaking of her room door. She said that a person then pulled the door open, and she saw Goff, whom she knows, standing in the doorway, nude. The student said that Goff grabbed her and tried to rip off her clothes. The complainant said that she screamed for help and that her aunt, who resides next door to their house, heard her cry and came to her assistance. She added that when her aunt entered the house, Goff let go of her and attempted to flee. Police said that he was apprehended after the complainant explained that he hangs around the area. Police also said that they believe that Goff got into the house through a small opening in the roof, which is being renovated.
