BELIZE CITY, Wed. May 14, 2025

The 4-time U-13 champions Royal Fusion are leading the Belize District Football Association (BDFA) U-15 Girls competition, now being held under the auspices of the BTB Mundialito in Week 5 at the Berger Field in Belize City on Saturday afternoon, May 3.

In Game 1, Clayian Swazo’s beaver hat trick (15’, 18’, 35’ & 44’) led the Royal Fusion girls to their 1st win, 7-0, over the KP Strikers, as Jocelyn Zuniga (4’, 17’ & 29’) also scored a hat trick.

In Game 2, the Ladyville Goal Getters held the Alvian Strikers to a scoreless draw until Alvian’s coach, Linda Eck refreshed her offensive line with Camry Henry, Janet Castillo, Akilah Baizar, Charika Humes, Betsy Moran, Li Audra Graham and Empress Ariola, and Camryn Henry (18’) scored first.

The tenacious defense of Goal Getters’ Lemoth Romeisha, Jahlissa Milligan, Zaysha Harvey, Shonolyn Reyes and Denisha Sanchez helped goalkeeper Amarqua Arnold concede no more goals, until Nahlya Chavarria (59’) salvaged a 1-1 draw in the penultimate minute of play!

The tournament continues in its final week of the regular season at Berger Field on Saturday morning, May 17.
