In Game 1, Yo Creek United marched over the San Estevan Soccer Team, 8-0, led by Axel Alamilla’s hat trick (50’, 61’ & 81’). Edimir Carrillo scored a brace (29’ & 43’); and other goals came from Amilcar Alamilla (45+1’), Allen Castillo (56’), and Liam Reyes (65’). San Estevan had won Game 1 by a 4-3 score, so Yo Creek qualified by the 11-4 aggregate.

The San Jose Pumas had held Mi Gente FC of Guinea Grass to a 2-2 draw in the first semi-final last week; and in Game 2, they clinched their berth in the finals by a 3-2 win, with goals by Jose Vigil, Victor Novelo and Nyzer Blanco. Only Miguel Yco (13’) and Emir Rodriguez (81’) scored for Mi Gente in Game 2.

Thus, the Pumas will take on Yo Creek United in the championship final at the Louisiana field on Sunday afternoon, December 15.
