BELIZE CITY, Mon. Apr. 3, 2017–Minister of Foreign Affairs and Home Affairs, Wilfred “Sedi” Elrington—the man who has, by the nature of his public comments on the Belize-Guatemala border become the most controversial Minister in the Barrow Cabinet for the last nine years—will make a rare appearance on the KREM WUB show on Friday morning, April 7, 2017, and he has agreed to take calls from the public.

Elrington is due to join KREM WUB host Nuri Muhammed at 7:00 a.m., and the line will be opened to callers at 8:00 a.m.

Elrington, a former talk show host on KREM, has been the Government’s leading voice in Belize-Guatemala issues, but he is also the minister currently responsible for the Police Department.

The Minister has held the Foreign Affairs portfolio since 2008, when he inked the special agreement with his Guatemalan counterpart, for the Belize-Guatemala differendum to be taken to the International Court of Justice (ICJ), if voters from both neighboring countries agree.
