Smart 13 & Under Mundialito continues at the MCC

SportsSmart 13 & Under Mundialito continues at the MCC

BELIZE CITY, Mon. June 17, 2019– All 12 teams were active on Saturday at the MCC in the 2018-2019 Closing Season of the Smart 13 & Under Mundialito.

In game 1, City Boys bombed Brown Bombers, 6-1, with 3 goals from Tom Moguel, 2 from Raymond Gentle and the other from Shemar Thomas; while Fladen Carter scored for the Bombers.

Game 2 saw Elite FC Jr. with a 3-nil win over Belize United, courtesy of a goal apiece from Tyrick Aranda, Norman Munoz and Kenyon Pratt.

In game 3, Reality Youth shut out Berger United MHJ, 5-nil, with 2 goals from Tayshawn Gillett and 1 each from Dean Belisle and Tyshane Duran, along with an auto goal from Berger United.

Game 4 was a 1-1 draw between Atletico Minero and Ladyville Warriors. Brandon Thompson scored for Atletico, and Noel Gomez shook the net for Ladyville Warriors.

Kenrick Gordon scored the only goal of the game, as Ladyville Rising Stars clipped Heights FC, 1-nil, in game 5.

And it was the same score in game 6, as a goal from Dixon Gamboa was enough to give Warriors FC the 1-nil win over Sampson Academy.
