I woke up this morning to the realization that it is the first of March. I realize that Black History Month is over, and now Trump will send out his goons to hassle black people. I realize that I’m getting old because I still thought that Christmas was just three weeks ago. I realize that in two weeks Belize will have general elections and a new era will be ushered in. I realize after my recent checkup, that although I’m in good shape, I am yet still wary of the results. Maybe my doctor is lying to me, giving me a false sense of security, just for me to drop dead on the street or while working out or taking a shower.

 All the kidding aside, the Ides of March is the 15th of this month, and we are not doing well. The Crimson King embarrassed the United States, embarrassed one of the most heroic and important men of our time, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, president of Ukraine. The 34-time convicted felon and draft dodger wanted respect from a man who makes him look like a dwarf, in the larger scheme of things. Both Trump and his Igor, wanted Zelenskyy to show appreciation for what they have done for him. The balls on those two! They have not supported Ukraine in any shape or form, and have shown their preference for the other dwarf, Putin, in plain sight!

 Joe Biden, for all his faults, rallied the American people and the world to support Ukraine against the invasion by Voldemort Putin. Along with the Europeans, he has made Russia look like the failed state it is. A failing economy … with the many soldiers who have been involuntarily forced to fight and die to support his imperial ambitions. If not for Biden and his support for Ukraine’s sovereignty, Poland and the Baltic states would have already felt the pressure of Russian boots on their borders.

This display of petty, undiplomatic barbarism by a man and his pet, who have no respect for law and order and justice, is on us, the American people! We are the ones who are responsible for creating this new Axis of Evil—Russia, China, North Korea, the United States, Iran, and all the other authoritarian regimes around the world. This new Axis extends to a Republican Party that is now also a satellite of Russia! All this because we weren’t happy with the price of eggs, which has now tripled under this new junta!

The disrespect shown to the Ukrainian president, and the people of Ukraine, by Twiddle Dee and Twiddle Dum, is unforgivable. We have shown the world that America is not that shining city on the hill anymore, just another autocratic country ruled by oligarchs who brook no opposition! America will no longer have the right to lecture anyone, ever again, on right or wrong; that ship has sailed. Any leader, anywhere, can choose their own villainous path, without fear of the consequence for their actions.

Bullying is the zeitgeist of the world we are now living in! Being a bully by definition makes you a coward. A weak, sniveling, narcissistic coward. This current breed of arrogant world leaders, whether in Europe or Asia or Latin America, and especially in the United States of America, is disconcerting and alarming. But again, even the traitorous Brutus understood what these clowns fail to realize: “A free republic will never keep a standing army to execute its laws. It must depend upon the support of its citizens. But when a government is to receive support and aid of its citizens, it must be constructed as to have confidence, respect, and admiration of the people.”

We, the people, put these clowns in office. Our shortsightedness, our selfishness, our dumbness, have created this abomination that is clearly out of control in the first month in office. There is no superhero out there to save us from this blight, this terror that is slowly descending and enveloping us, as we slowly wake up to this nightmare we created. Wat a ting!
