The Father?s Day gallops at Castleton in Boom

SportsThe Father?s Day gallops at Castleton in Boom

In the G CLASS 3 furlongs, Miracle from Gabourel Stables, ridden by Martin, bounced back after being out of the winner circle for over three races, in a time of 41 seconds to roll over Maya from Lennon Stables. Third was Sweet Destiny from Espat?s Stables with Carlos on board, and last month?s winner, Trick Again from Guy Stables from out west, was thrashed, finishing a disappointing fourth. Pajarito from Juan?s Stables rounded out the five horse field. One thing about this class is that most of the horses have tasted of victory, making this class one of the most competitive of all.

In the E CLASS going 4 furlongs, Baron from Gabourel Stables was on a roll, from wire to wire with Martin on board again, and schooled everything in a time of 53.1 seconds. Second was Lady Sabrine with McClaine on top, while Bell?s Mystic Man, who opted to go up since nobody came to run him in his class, had to settle for third.

In the D CLASS going 5 furlongs, Lil Freak from Dunker?s Stables with Manuel on board ran away easily from Blew by You of Gabourel Stables, with brother Carlos in the irons, in a time of 1 minute 8.5 seconds.

In the THOROUGHBRED SPRINT going 6 furlongs, Dunker?s Muchacho Fino ran over all his competitors with Manuel on board in a time of 1 minute 19 seconds. Second was Carr?s Stables? Sundae Victrie, who showed great effort but was no match for the boy from south.
