Belize City Mayor Bernard Wagner and several City Councilors had a working breakfast this morning at City Hall.
Following the breakfast, members of the media engaged the Mayor and his Councilors with questions and a wide range of issues, from street repairs to the municipal bond; Mayor Wagner said the Council would release the prospectus very shortly.
The bond was initially for $6 million, but Mayor Wagner disclosed that it is over-subscribed and that the figure now stands at $8 million.
Mayor Wagner and the Council have pledged to renew their relationship with the media and to make themselves more accessible.
