BELIZE CITY, Thurs. June 16, 2022

   With only five (5) teams each in U17 and U20 categories, the Football Federation of Belize’s (FFB) Belize District Regional Male Youth Elite Tournament 2022 has completed four (4) weeks already, with games being played on Saturdays at the Marion Jones Sports Complex.  Below are the results from games played this past Saturday, June 11, in both U17 and U20 categories.

Week 4 results, Sat. June 11

   (U-17 Male) In the 10:00 a.m. opener, Warriors FC won, 3-2, over Ladyville Rising Stars.  Warriors’ goals were by Jaymion Cacho (6’) and Shemar Thomas (10’ & 67’), while Rising Stars got a goal each from Thomas McLaughlin (23’) and Nelson Usher (65’).

   (U-20 Male) In a noon time clash, it was Warriors FC with the 1-0 win over Ladyville Rising Stars, courtesy of a second half goal by Sanjay Pitts, Jr. (58’).  

   (U-20 Male) The next match at 2:00 p.m. saw seven players on the score sheet for Lake-I FC as they prevailed, 7-2, over Youth & Sports in Edu. Netting a goal apiece for Lake-I were Ervin Rhamdas (21’), Lawnie Leslie (39’), Jaylen Oshon (46’), Calvin Graham (60’), Tasheed  Henry (76’), Israel Noralez (79’) and Jerwin Carcamo (84’); while for Youth & Sports it was Ivan Moh (73’) and Bernard Garbutt (83’).    

   (U-17 Male) And in the 4:00 p.m. nightcap, Stars Academy dropped Gwen Lizarraga, 5-1, with goals from Keydenshay Bowen (8’ & 53’), Devin McCaulay (22’), Tayshawn Broaster (61’) and Keemar Wagner (78’); while the lone goal for Gwen Liz was by Aaron Nicholson (71’).
