Vile video of boy’s story of sexual abuse shared on Facebook

GeneralVile video of boy’s story of sexual abuse shared on Facebook

BELIZE CITY, Thurs. Dec. 3, 2020– Commissioner of Police Chester Williams has condemned the circulation on Facebook of a four-minute twenty-two-second video in which a little boy narrates to two others how he was forced, under the threat of violence, to perform a sexual act on an older male.

The boy, whose name and age cannot be made public, reported that the aggressor is 14 years old, and shared details that could lead investigators to his abuser.

Williams, in a post to his social media page, described it as an outright case of child abuse and says the matter is being investigated so that those responsible are held to account.

“This is an outright case of child abuse, and as a responsible society, we must all do our part to protect our children from those who prey on their vulnerability,” stated Williams in the post.

“I also ask for those who had posted the video or shared it, to kindly take it down. By keeping it on your timeline or sharing it, you are adding to the hurt and humiliation of the child.

“Thanks, and together, let us all do our part to stop the abuse against our children”, Williams said.
