Eight (8) of the twelve (12) participating football teams in the William Dawson Peace Cup are gearing up to enter the playoffs of the competition this Sunday, April 14, at the MCC Grounds in Belize City.

The games will be played in a knockout format, with the winners on Sunday advancing to the semi-finals next weekend.

Match opponents in the quarterfinals were determined according to the seeding of the top 8 teams in the regular season, with #1 vs #8, #2 vs #7, #3 vs #6, and #4 vs #5.

The Peace Cup quarterfinal playoff schedule is as follows:

Sunday, April 14, MCC Grounds
9:00 a.m. – (1) Tut Bay vs (8) West Lake
11:00 a.m. – (2) Lake-I vs (7) Caesar Ridge
1:00 p.m. – (3) Survivors vs (6) Hattieville
3:00 p.m. – (4) Fort George vs (5) Port Loyola

The William Dawson Peace Cup, an Open Male 1st Division tournament which kicked off on Saturday, January 6, 2024, was organized by the Police Department and the Department of Youth Services, and is sanctioned by the Belize District Football Association (BDFA), an affiliate member of the Football Federation of Belize (FFB).
