BELIZE CITY, Mon. May 28, 2018– The police’s investigation of a robbery at Jolli Bee’s Restaurant, located at the corner of Amara Avenue and Cemetery Road has led to the arrest of three men. They are Lemar Lamb, 19; his brother, Robert Lamb, 18; and Iwin Palma. They pleaded not guilty to 5 counts of robbery when they appeared today before Senior Magistrate Aretha Ford.

They were remanded into custody until August 28.

The incident occurred on Saturday, May 26. Three men entered the restaurant, one of them armed with a firearm. They stole a cash register containing $1,200 from the restaurant. They also stole $100 and a gold chain with a medal from Stephanie Clarke, a customer at the restaurant.
