BDFA Interoffice Football final reg. season results; knockout playoffs this week

BELIZE CITY, Tue. Sept. 12, 2017–The Belize District Football Association (BDFA) Interoffice Football Competition 2017 competed its regular season schedule last week with games on Wednesday and Thursday, September 6 and 7, at the MCC Grounds.

In the opener on Wednesday, Brodies won, 2-0, over Tourist Village/Transparent BPO with goals from Travyon Martinez (10’) and Alex Salvida (47’). And in the nightcap, Ramada Eco Nature bombed KHMH, 8-0, with goals from Steven Baizer (8’, 13’, 40’ & 52’), Elber Perez (67’), Carlos Castro (29’ & 60’) and Antonio Barrera (65’).

Thursday’s opener saw Tourist Village Tennants edging BWS Pressure, 5-4, with goals from Keeron Young (46’, 48’ & 64’), Carlos Guerra (51’) and Zaneen Pott (55’); while BWS goals were by Edmund Pandy (12’), Charles James (27’) and Denroy McCord (38’ & 60’). And in the nightcap, Customs crushed Fiscal Attraction, 6-nil, with goals from Akeem Godoy (23’), Mark Lopez (45’ & 61’), Shamar Thompson (47’ & 55’) and Delon Belisle (65’).

The top 4 teams from each division now move on to the knockout playoffs: win, and go on; lose, and go home!

7:00 p.m. – #1 Ramada Eco Nature vs #4 BWS Pressure
8:30 p.m. – #2 Brodies vs #3 Tourist Village Tennants
Thursday, September 14
7:00 p.m. – #1 BCC vs #4 Tourist Village/Transparent BPO
8:30 p.m. – #2 Latino FC vs #3 BTL
