Catching up with Smart 13 & Under Mundialito games

BELIZE CITY, Mon. May 30, 2016–The Smart 13 & Under Mundialito continued with Week 7 games this past Saturday at the MCC Grounds; but before we review the scores, we need to cover some lost ground from the previous week, when we missed the stats on the Week 6 games.

Here goes with Week 6 games results from Saturday, May 14:

In game 1, it was City Boys, 2-0, over Face of Belize, with goals from Kayla Requena and Rasheed Lord. Game 2 saw Young Warriors with the 2-0 win over Reality Youths, with goals from Jonah Coye and Ryan Chiac. In game 3, Collet Strikers and Carlston FC played to a 2-2 draw. Brandon Smith scored both goals for Collet, while Linford Nunez and Jevon Theus scored a goal apiece for Carlston. Game 4 saw Hattieville Riverside Boys prevailing, 2-0, over Heights FC, with a goal each from Ruben Darius and Jose Almendarez. And in game 5, Brown Bombers blanked Ladyville Rising Stars, 4-0, with 2 goals from Keifer Perteau and 1 each from Michael Bradley and Eldon Byrd.

Week 7 games took place this past Saturday, May 21, as follows:

In game 1, Ladyville Jaguars drew, 1-1, with Reality Youths. D’Jon Canelo shook the net for the Jaguars, while Kibran Flores hit the target for Reality Youths. In game 2, Brown Bombers got the 1-nil win over Collet Strikers, on a goal by Keyden Bowen. Game 3 saw Ladyville Rising Stars edging Young Warriors, 1-0, with a goal from Levie Davis. Game 4 was a nil-nil draw between Face of Belize and Heights FC. And game 5 also saw Carlston FC and Hattieville Riverside Boys playing to a nil-nil stalemate.

Upcoming Week 8 games:
Saturday, June 4
10:00 a.m. – Hattieville Riverside Boys vs Face of Belize
11:00 a.m. – Young Warriors vs City Boys
12:00 noon – Brown Bombers vs Carlston FC
1:00 p.m. – Collet Strikers vs Reality Youths
2:00 p.m. – Heights FC vs Ladyville Jaguars
