Chinese businessman, Weushi Lui, 52, owner and manager of a store on 6th Avenue, Corozal Town, was held up at gunpoint and robbed while he was in his store, and the thieves got away with $500 from the cash drawer.

The incident occurred at about 2:30 Saturday evening.

Lui told police that two men entered the store, one of whom was armed with a 9mm pistol. The armed thief pointed the gun at him and demanded money, while the other thief went behind the counter and stole all the money that was in the cash drawer. The two thieves then ran out of the store.
