In our Sunday, April 6, 2014 issue of Amandala, in an article titled “Laura Baptist Middleton recovering at the KHMH,” we said that the principal of Sadie Vernon High School, Laura Baptist Middleton, collapsed in her office and was found lying on her office floor by the vice principal.

Amandala was later informed that the principal did not collapse on to the floor, but to a chair, and that it was not the vice principal or the acting vice principal that found and assisted her, but some teachers who had come to her office.
