BELIZE CITY, Wed. Feb. 7, 2018– Yesterday, the Belize National Cricket Association (BNCA) announced that its Sir Barry Bowen 2018 Harrison Parks Cricket Competition regular season will commence this coming weekend with 7 games scheduled, 6 on Saturday and 1 on Sunday.  The planned season opening Marathon, which had been twice postponed due to rain, has been cancelled.  Below is the Week 1 regular season schedule, all games starting at 10:30 a.m.:

Saturday, February 10
Game 1 – Police vs Western Eagles in Belmopan
Game 2 – Sunrise vs Wicked 11 in Lords Bank
Game 3 – Brilliant vs BDF in Crooked Tree
Game 4 – Summer Fever vs Easy Does It in Bermudian Landing
Game 5 – Excellence vs Bright Star in Double Head Cabbage
Game 6 – Brave Union vs Rural Mix in Burrell Boom
Sunday, February 11
Game 1 – Isabella Uprising vs Berlan in Bermudian Landing

The defending champion is Excellence of Double Head Cabbage.
