Election time in Belize and the Party factotums will be busy handing out their trinkets — Make Belize Great Again (?) Ball caps and T-shirts, a chicken and a few bucks, all to garner your votes. I would remind voters of an old Polish proverb: “Free cheese can be found only in a mousetrap.”
