Gregorio Medina 43, of Trial Farm, Orange Orange Walk District, was found floating in the New River about 4:30 yesterday afternoon.

Family members who were looking for him after he did not come home on Saturday night saw the body floating in the water. Police recovered the body, and it was identified as being that of Gregorio Medina.

Family members who saw the body saw a wound on his head and believe that foul play was involved. Police say, however, that there was no sign of violence on the body, and declared death by drowning.

The upper part of the body was already decomposing, so police took him to an area where a post-mortem was performed by Dr. Mario Estrada Bran.
