ORANGE WALK TOWN, Mon. July 17, 2017-The Orange Walk Football Association (OWFA) Amateur Opening Season Week 3 games were played yesterday, Sunday, at People’s Stadium. In game 1, Desert Storm, Jr. dropped Crystal FC, 3-0, with goals from Kelvy Cordova (3’), Arnold Enriquez (11’) and Darian Coh (48’). In game 2, it was Trinidad FC, 3-2, over Progresso FC with goals from Travion Martinez (21’ & 28’) and Rubini Carillo (87’); while Gabriel Perez (83’ & 90’) got both goals for Progresso. Game 3 saw Sinbad FC with the 1-nil win over Trial Farm Athletic FC, with Leonardo Choc (20’) getting the game winner. And in game 4, San Estevan FC clipped Progresso United FC, 2-1, with goals from Alexis Chan (22’) and Adair Chan (75’); while Ismar Bustillos (6’) scored for Progresso United.
