SportsThe sports desk mourns “KC”

BELIZE CITY, Mon. July 6, 2015–Kremandala journalist Kareem Clarke joined us on a number of occasions in these sports pages, while his major duties involved other news stories for both the newspaper and Krem radio. Bubbling with enthusiasm and talent, his work was his passion, and he enjoyed every minute of it.

As the Amandala editorialized in its Sunday, July 5, issue, things indeed fell apart for us behind the zinc fence today, Monday, as it has on many a day in many a neighborhood in southside Belize City, with the shocking news of his violent passing. Sincere condolences to his family. Our hearts are heavy, but we must trod on, as we mourn the passing of our beloved little brother, the great Kareem Clarke, R.I.P.
