BELIZE CITY, Sat. Aug. 15, 2015–Thirty-six-year-old Hilton Conorquie was the victim of a traffic accident at Mile 5 on the George Price Highway. His sister, Ingrid, said, “Conorquie had left work around 7 p.m. and is believed to have been knocked down about 8 p.m. He was left in an unconscious state. It was not until 2 a.m. that he was discovered by the police, who called for an ambulance that took him to Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.”

According to Ingrid, the injuries he sustained include a broken left arm (from the shoulder to the elbow), a broken left leg, a broken rib, and a cut on his right hand. Also, his right foot was displaced, and his back was injured.

Ingrid went on to say that her brother is in a lot of pain and he is in need of 7 pints of blood in order for the doctors to proceed with the surgery. Hilton is “0 positive” and the family is seeking the public’s assistance to get the remaining 5 pints of blood.

Ingrid can be contacted at 601-5917.
