MILE 20, George Price Highway, Belize District, Mon. Dec. 12, 2016–Hattieville police are presently investigating a robbery that occurred at Mile 20 on the George Price Highway at about 7:00 this evening.

A Travellers delivery truck that was travelling to Belize City from Belmopan was stopped by robbers and the driver and the sales agent were robbed of an undisclosed amount of money.
The thieves then escaped.

ASP Rochel Chan, Commander of Hattieville Police, told Amandala that details of the robbery are not yet known, because their investigation has just begun.
