Weekend Warrior race results at TIDE Fish Fest in P.G.

BELIZE CITY–Here are the results from the 2 Weekend Warrior (WW) Cycling Club races held down in Punta Gorda over the weekend in conjunction with the TIDE Annual Fish Fest:

SATURDAY RESULTS

In the A/B class, they rode from TIDE Compound to Mafredi Village and return, for 32 miles.

Top “A/B” finishers were: 1st place – Santino Castillo (Santino’s, 1:46:24); 2nd Shelton Graham (Santino’s, st); 3rd Jim Scott (Santino’s); 4th Daniel Cano (Digicell-4G); 5th Warren Coye (Santino’s); 6th Ryan Willoughby (Stationery House/Medina’s Jwlry); 7th Salvador Alvarado (FT Williams); 8th Nelson Zayden (Stationery House/Medina’s Jwlry); 9th Ernest Olivera (FT Williams); and 10th Clarence Tesecum (FT Williams).

In the C class, they rode from TIDE Compound to PG Dump Site and return, for 26 miles.

Top “C” finishers were: 1st place – Lawrence Craig (Truckers Posse, 1:25:57); 2nd Glen Sheppard (Big Blade, 1:28:15); 3rd Dennis McKoy (Truckers Posse); 4th Valentine Sosa (Truckers Posse); 5th Sheldon Arnold (Big Blade); and 6th Sheffield Eck (Stationery House/Medina’s Jwlry).

SUNDAY RESULTS

In the A/B class, they rode from TIDE Compound to Big Falls Maya Ruin Village and return, for 40 miles.

Top “A/B” finishers were: 1st place – Jim Scott (Santino’s, 1:52:10); 2nd Clarence Tesecum (FT Williams, st); 3rd Santino Castillo (Santino’s); 4th Warren Coye (Santino’s); 5th Shelton Graham (Santino’s); 6th Daniel Cano (Digicell-4G); 7th Mark Lisbey (FT Williams); 8th Francis Cassasola (Santino’s); 9th George Abraham (Santino’s); and 10th Ryan Willoughby (Stationery House/Medina’s Jwlry).

In the C class, they rode from TIDE Compound to Big Falls Bridge and return, for 30 miles.

Top “C” finishers: 1st place – Glen Sheppard (Big Blade, 1:55:00); 2nd Valentine Sosa (Truckers Posse, st); 3rd Dennis McKoy (Truckers Posse); 4th Sheldon Arnold (Big Blade); 5th Lawrence Craig (Truckers Posse); and 6th Sheffield Eck (Stationery House/Medina’s Jwlry).
